In 1993, Garri Terzian graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a major in Accounting. In 1994 Garri joined one of the big four international accounting firms and articled with them until 1998. To further his career as a tax specialist he joined The Canada Revenue Agency as an income tax auditor in 1999 when he received his Canadian Certified General Accountant designation.
In 2000, he joined the Vancouver Tax Group of another big four international accounting firm as a Tax Manager and completed the three-year In-Depth Tax Course with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Garri’s published works include “Tax Traps and Tips” published in the CA Magazine.
In 2002 Garri formed a boutique CPA firm specializing in the preparation of Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credit claims. Since then, Garri has had the privilege of assisting hundreds of Canadian businesses receive substantial government funding under the SR&ED and BC IDMTC programs in order to grow and maintain their competitive advantage. Garri measures his success by his Clients’ success.
